American YouTuber, Corey Pritchett accused of aggravated kidnapping! Where is Corey now?

Social media influencers are on the rise. People, mostly young are using the social media and other online platforms to earn quick money. They have many followers on their social media too. But the mental health of these social media influencers as well as safety of their fans needs to be considered. Houston-based YouTuber Corey Pritchett is indicated in an aggravated kidnapping case. Corey Pritchett and his crime of aggravated kidnapping

Houston YouTuber, Corey Pritchett is in a legal soup. He has committed a crime in November 2024 and the police are on the lookout for him.

KHOU reports that two women had an ordinary outing with Corey in the month of November of last year. The women had joined him for a gym session, an ATV ride and later for bowling.

When they were having fun at the bowling alley, they met some people there with whom they had some past problems.

Corey got angry and suddenly left the arena. The belongings of the women were in his car. When the female pair went to his car to get their things, they noticed that he was showing a change in behavior.

The social media influencer started a rash drive towards San Antonio and also stated that someone was following them.

The harrowing experience of the women

The women narrated to the police that Corey had a handgun with him that was golden colored. He waved it out of the car roof and fired shots in the air.

Later, Corey spoke to someone on phone. This person’s name was saved under the name of ‘Future Wife’ in his mobile. He told the person that he had a perfect chance now. He also said:

“I’m going to f— y’all and then kill y’all,”

The women believed that he was threatening them and found themselves in grave situation. Subsequently, Corey abandoned the women on the side of the road, I-10 near Sealy. He told them:

“This is your only opportunity,”

The stranded women sought help of a passerby and reached the police station for filing a case against Corey. An FIR was made but no arrest was made until now. Because Corey is not traceable.

Where is Corey?

The YouTuber has a large fan following of over one million on his YouTube channel and more than 6.72 crore views. On this channel, Corey posts about his family consisting of wife and two children.

But after the alleged kidnapping, Corey has vanished. He posted on his social media that he is out of the USA.

FBI investigating the matter have revealed that Corey is indeed out of the USA now. He traveled to Doha in Qatar on 9 December 2024. The complaint is under investigation and his movements are under scrutiny.

It is not clear as to why he behaved so with the women and why he abandoned them. Was he trying to flee from some of his enemies? Who are these enemies? Things would be clear only when the police interrogates Corey after arresting him on his return from Doha.

But one thing is certain that the mental health of the social media personalities should be watched. Because safety of their fans depends on it.
