Ana began her professional music career in 1995 with the band, ‘Hush’. She formed the band along with Rade Popović, Milan Sarić, and Bojan Ivković.

After a couple of years, Ana Popović went to the Netherlands to study jazz guitar, and ‘Hush’ broke. In 1999, she formed Ana Popović Band in The Netherlands.

Later in 2001, she launched her debut album, Hush! on Ruf Records. Moreover, the album also got huge appreciation and became a huge hit. In 2005, she released a live album and DVD named Ana! Live in Amsterdam. 

Additionally, she also released Still Making History in 2007 followed by Blind for Love in 2009 and An Evening at Trasimeno Lake in 2010.

Furthermore, her 2011 album, Unconditional earned huge recognition. Recently, Ana released two albums Blue Room and Trilogy in 2015 and 2016 respectively.
