Ariana Grande to pay huge money to Dalton Gomez after finalizing divorce
It’s officially over for Ariana Grande and her estranged husband Dalton Gomez.
The singer and the realtor have finalized their divorce after three years of marriage.
An LA Superior Court judgment dissolving their marriage became official. It came after six months after the Bang Bang singer, 30, filed for divorce from Gomez, 28.
Court papers show that the two split more than a year. Their divorce became quick and clean since they had a pre-nuptial agreement, no children, and no significant legal disputes in the split.
The two only had to wait for six months before a judge’s order took place. The agreement states that Ariana will make a one-time payment of $1,250,000 to her ex-husband with no future alimony.
Having said that, the actress will also provide him with half of the proceeds of the sale of their Los Angeles home and will pay up to $25,000 toward his attorneys’ fees.
Like the majority of the high-profile divorces, Grande cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
The couple started dating in January 2020. Their romance grew when they quarantined together during the pandemic.
They even appeared together in Justin Bieber’s charity single video Stuck With U in May of that year. That December, they announced their engagement.
On May 12, 2021, the then-lovebirds said I DO in a small private ceremony at the Grammy winner’s home in Montecito, California.
Their split was announced in July of last year with the Love Me Harder singer filing for divorce in October.
Soon after their split, Grande came under fire for dating her current boyfriend and Wicked co-star Ethan Slater.
Ariana also deleted all photos of her wedding to Gomez from Instagram. Soon after that, sources confirmed that they tried to fix their marriage some months ago but it didn’t happen.
Dalton reportedly flew to London in January as a last effort to save their marriage.
She had fans speculating that Gomez might have cheated on her when she released her single Eternal Sunshine.
The lyrics went,
”So now we play our separate scenes // Now, now she’s in my bed, layin’ on your chest // Now I’m in my head, wonderin’ how it ends.”

Then in July of last year, Ethan, 31, also filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay, who was devastated by her husband’s decision. In the filings, he cited irreconcilable differences and asked for joint custody of their son.
The two married in 2018 and welcomed a baby boy last August.
Ethan and Ariana’s romance reportedly started while filming Wicked in London over the past year.
A source said at the time,
”Ariana is living with a married man right now while she is still married,”
People noted that the two were just friends until they split from their respective spouses. However, another source claimed that the rumors were ‘‘absolutely untrue” adding that there were ”receipts to prove it.”
They said,
”Ariana and Ethan never intended for their relationship to go public.”
”They were hoping to keep it a secret and go back to their marriages as if nothing had happened. But this was not possible because they got caught.”
