Everyone knows about Siemens. It is one of the largest manufacturing technological group of Europe. One of the member of this affluent and famous family dynasty, Bjoern von Siemens has an ongoing divorce case. It is turning bitter by the day. Here is an update on it.

Bjoern von Siemens is one of the family members of the famous technology-related group of Europe, Siemens. He has divorced his wife, Leah von Siemens after three and half years of a marital relationship. The couple shares two children together.

Leah has accused Bjoern of not paying child support payments. She adds that he is living a lavish lifestyle but has expressed his inability to pay for his two kids. Leah’s lawyer said that Bjoern’s family is helping him to pay his dues. Her lawyer also stated that as per the couple’s prenuptial agreement, Bjoern has to pay Leah a minimum of £1.5 million.

Earlier, the court had ordered Bjoern to pay per month £15,750 towards maintenance of his children. However, Bjoern defaulted in the payment. The amount has accumulated to reach  £100,000 which Bjoern agreed to pay at the last minute.

Leah told the court via her documents that Bjoern is falsely claiming that his earnings are less. His finances are not stressed and he has enough money to pay up for his kids’ maintenance.

Leah’s lawyers have stated that if one goes through Bjoern’s credit bill statements, it shows that he has spent thousands of pounds on stays in luxury hotels. Moreover, he has splurged money in restaurants and nightclubs. Bjoern has a luxurious rental accommodation in London. He also gave his new girlfriend USD 150k. Joe Rainer, Leah’s lawyer stated:

“The fact that he has not paid a penny betrays the obvious: he is not paying because he doesn’t think he should have to, not because he can’t afford to,”

Bjoern has stated that his income has been exaggerated by Leah. Further, he adds that all his expenses are part of his business and not a splurging on self. Bjoern corrected that his income was only £50,000 in one year. But the judge had counteracted and said that it would be ten times more annually. Additionally, in their prenuptial agreement, his assets value had been put as £46.7 million.

Who is Bjoern von Siemens?

Bjoern is a descendant of Werner von Siemens who was the co-founder of German company conglomerate that now goes by the name of Siemens. His assets are valued at approximately £50 million.

Bjoern has also founded Caresyntax which is a digital platform that aims to minimize deaths due to complications of surgery. BlackRock Inc. has invested in this project. Bjoern serves as its Chief Business Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and is on its Board.

Moreover, Bjoern has co-founded another firm called surgical.ai. He is its MD. Also, he is the chairman of Lillian Care. He is a board member of Daslab.

As regards his qualifications, Bjoern obtained his Bachelor in science degree from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. Later, he did his MSc in Accounting and Finance from the prestigious London School of Economics. Bjoern has experience in postgraduate research of several years. He carried this out at Harvard University, Harvard Business School and at University of St. Gallen.

Prior to going solo, he worked with the parent company as an advisor of technology and was also one of its investors.
