The incident occurred on Saturday, July 26 during her outdoor performance at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas. Well, the video from the event has now gone viral on overall internet.

As shown in the video, Cardi, who donned an orange dress, is performing her hit “Bodak Yellow,” which peaked at No. 1 for three weeks in 2017 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Someone from the audience appears to pour a liquid at her during her mid-performance, and the “WAP” rapper reacts instantly by throwing her mic at the front-row attendee.

It’s unclear whether her aim hit the perpetrator because the video quickly switched to another direction.

However, the footage shows Cardi yelling some inaudible remarks at the person as security escorted the drink flinger out of the event.

Following the incident, the rapper shared on Twitter a video of a different camera angle that offers a closer view of the fan trying to pour a drink on her.

Also, it is alleged that Cardi continued her performance after the microphone toss.
