Cher and Alexander Edwards are reportedly no longer a romantic couple. A source close to the couple revealed the two amicably called it quit on their relationship a few weeks ago.

However, a reason for the split hasn’t yet been disclosed.

In November 2022, the pair sparked dating rumors after they were seen holding hands on a date night in Los Angeles.

The 76-year-old hitmaker is 40 years old older than the music producer and Def Jam A&R executive for which they also encounter several backlashes. Cher swiftly shut down to some of her haters at the time while responding,

In March 2023, the former couple made their red carpet debut at the Versace fall fashion show in Los Angeles.

The separation news comes almost four months after the former couple sparked engagement rumors. In December 2022, Cher was seen sporting a massive diamond ring worth around $250,000.

At the time, she also wished she could show her late mother, Georgia Holt, the ring that Edwards gave her. The “Believe” singer tweeted,

The Grammy winner later shared a separate post sharing a photo of the record producer, 36, holding a ring box while tweeting,

“THERE R NO WORDS, ALEXANDER,A.E,”

Regardless, she subsequently clarified to her fans that she posted the picture because Edwards’ “nails are so cool,” referencing his black manicure with green flame details.

However, TMZ’s source claims that Cher and Edwards were never actually engaged.
