The pop star gushed over her much younger beau’s appearance in a new interview with People published on Wednesday.

The global icon, 77, explained why her relationship with the 37-year-old musician has gotten so much attention. She said,

“Alexander’s got diamond teeth, tattoos, white hair, and he’s way younger. He’s a beautiful man,”
“Also, I think it’s fun to be interested in somebody else’s love life!”

The Believe hitmaker further admitted that she instantly fell in love with the music producer after meeting for about 15 minutes at a Paris Fashion Week event in the fall of 2022.

The Grammy winner explained that a common friend gave him her number, which was “really shocking because people just don’t give out my number,”

“I hate when people say people are special, but lots of people say I’m special, so I can say that he’s special,”

Cher and Edwards are collaborators for new music

Despite being 40 years Alexander’s senior, Cher is focusing on the joy that their relationship brings to her.

She said,

“You have to think about ‘How does it feel?’ and live in the moment.”

Cher and Edwards rekindled their romance in September after taking a break in May. They are now collaborating on her first-ever holiday album, Christmas.

Edwards produced her new track Drop Top Sleigh Ride, which will appear on Christmas along with lead single DJ Play a Christmas Song.

Cher said of her boyfriend,

“He’s a great producer,”
“I let him do ‘Drop Top Sleigh.’ That’s a hard thing to do when you are in love with someone and then you say, ‘OK, here, take this record and do what you want with it.’ But I had faith. And I was so thrilled.”
