Author Christine Quinn, 35 has accused her estranged husband, Christian Dumontet of using the tactics of emotional manipulation against her. This comes after he filed for a temporary restraining order against her.

Author Christine Quinn, 35 is not to be taken lightly. After her estranged husband, Christian Dumontet filed for a temporary restraining order against her, Christine has hit back at him. She has accused him of trying to emotionally manipulate her and faking his mother’s heart attack.

Christian filed for a divorce in court on 5 April 2024. Christine stated that a few days after the divorce petition, Christian allegedly contacted her and told her that his mother had a heart attack. She filed these accusations in the Los Angeles court in response to Christian’s petition for a restraining order against her . Her court documents state:

“On April 10, 2024, I was informed of Christian’s request to Facetime his mother, Nancy Dumontet, with our son because his mother had recently suffered from a heart attack,”

After that, Christine explained:

“I regularly keep in touch with my son’s grandmother, Nancy Dumontet, and spoke with her that very morning, and I know this to be untrue. She did not suffer a heart attack,”

The reality TV star added:

“This attempt to exploit a family member’s fals medical condition is yet another attempt by Christian to manipulate me, my attorneys, and even his own attorneys,”

About the restraining order against Christian

Christine is extremely concerned about the likelihood of Christian going to any great heights in order to track her activities when the restraining order against him is active. She added that this could also include attempts to emotionally manipulate her by faking his mother’s illness. But she knows that his mother is well and his claim that she had a heart attack is fabricated and untrue.

Christine is in possession of a restraining order against her ex-husband. The Judge who granted her this order has asked Christian to stay 100 yards away from Christine and their 2-year-old child. Christine could also use their mansion exclusively for herself.

However, Christine had reported to the court that she could not access and enter the mansion because Christian had changed the gate operating codes. The reality TV star also revealed that Christian has hired an armed security guard who has entered the said mansion several times and she has the picture of the guard on her camera.

The relationship timeline of the couple

Christine wed Christian in 2019. He is the founder of Foodler. The two also founded the company called RealOpen that sells real estate to people in exchange for cryptocurrency.

However, the two had an explosive fight over their son in March 2024. Christine had alleged that Christian had thrown a bag containing glass at their son in a fit of anger. After that, she had to take the child to a medical center for treatment.

A case was made against the father and he was arrested and in jail for a day. Christine also got a restraining order against her husband at that time. But Christian violated the order and visited their home after his release. This led to his second arrest.

Following this, Christian filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences between the two as the reason. Both are seeking primary custody of their child. The divorce and custody battle has turned ugly.
