College footballer, Keith Miller III, 23 is dead!
It was a sudden, sad, tragic and untimely death of a budding American football player. College footballer, Keith Miller III from Texas A&M Commerce Lions passed away on 11 April 2024. He was just 23 years of age at the time of his death.
Premature death of Keith Miller III
American college footballer, Keith Miller III has expired on 11 April 2024. He was just 23 years old at the time of his death.
Keith played for Texas A&M Commerce Lions in the position of a wide receiver. There is not much information about how Keith died. The news came as a tribute from his girlfriend and co-players of his football team. His family, relatives, friends, officials and colleagues have not revealed any further details about Keith’s death.
Keith’s fans were keen to know the cause of his death. But there has been no official statement on him from his team reps. The football coach and Colorado University alum Darrin Chiaverini requested fellow football coaches on X to check on the well being of current as well as former players under them. He wrote:
“As coaches we are so focused on wins and losses that we sometimes forget to check on our former players!”
Keith’s girlfriend Caila Jae pays tribute
The girlfriend of the deceased player, Caila Jae expressed her grief on her Instagram account. She uploaded several photos and videos of the two at their home, pranking and cuddling each other. She wrote:
“My favorite place was in your arms,”
Expressing her pain, Caila added:
“All I want is you,”
Keith played first for Colorado Buffaloes as a receiver before he was transferred to Texas A&M in 2021. Further, Caila continued:
“Please p*** me off again please, please, please.”
“I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you.”
She shared a pic of her tattoo on the upper part of her thigh near the buttock that read ‘Keith Issac’. Heart-broken Caila expressed:
“I can’t think I can’t eat idk wtf to do w myself I’m truly broken,”
“I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you,”
“I will never love anyone the way I loved you. See you soon.”

Tributes from fellow players and fans
USC Trojans wide receiver and Keith’s close friend Brenden Rice wrote on his Instagram:
“I love you Brotha. On Everything I love yo son will be taken care of,”
He shared a pic of him with Keith. In another post, he wrote:
“Forever with you Brotha. Rest in power Keith Issac Miller III.”
He updated his bio and added KM3 followed by an emoji of a dove and a bandaged heart. One fan commented:
“NO WAY!!! I’m speechless rn KEITH… GANG… We love you till infinity and beyond! Watch over us!”
While another fan wrote:
“Sending you love, healing, and positive vibes Brice! Same to all his friends, family, and loved ones!”
“Rest in peace bro, you always had this special energy to put a smile on everyone’s face in any room you walked in,”
Another ardent fan of Keith commented:
“Now you’re just shining that light down onto us. You will be missed but never forgotten.”
“You will never be forgotten. I looked up to you, I wanted to play football like you,”
Another fan expressed:
“I always compared my game to yours. You brought a lot of excitement to the game of football. Long live Keith Miller lll.”
Coach Darrin also wrote:
“We lost a great young man today in Keith Miller!… Rest in Peace.”
“Keith I will really miss you my man!”
“Wish we would have had more time together!”
It is clear from the posts on social media that Keith was everyone’s favorite and they all miss him dearly.
