Demi Lovato experiences social media fire after admitting to a prank on her bodyguard!

Demi Lovato was online and doing a Q and A on Twitter with her fans. Everything seemed okay but after she admitted to directing a prank on her bodyguard, she came under fire for it.

Demi Lovato was answering random fan questions on Sunday morning on her Twitter. But then things took a controversial turn when one of the Twitter users asked her:

“What’s the funniest prank you’ve ever pulled?”

Without blinking an eyelid, the pop star, 25 came out with a story of the prank that she had played on one of her bodyguards. She narrated the incident online. She said that she and her bodyguard were staying at the same hotel. Demi wrote:

“I hired a lady of the night in Vegas and sent her to Max’s hotel room to surprise him. She walked into his room without permission and grabbed him in his ‘area’ and he freaked the f**k out hahahaha,”

She had expected her fans to be happy and delighted on hearing this story. But the whole thing boomeranged. It did not go well with many in the audience. The users criticized her act and many of them also accused Demi of orchestrating a sexual assault.

Demi was taken aback by such a response that she had not expected. She had expected people to laugh it out but the tone had become serious. She then immediately deleted the post and put up another one to counteract the reactions that had started to her first post about the joke on her bodyguard. Demi defended her actions.

She further added that she did not require any teaching on sexual abuse and requested people to listen to one of her songs.

She indirectly accepted that it was a mistake on her part to have performed the prank. Similarly, she then got softer and tweeted an apology. She wrote:

Max’s reaction and feelings

Though her fans were enraged on learning of the prank, it appears that Max her bodyguard has no issue with it. Once the backlash gathered heat, Max came to his boss’ rescue and stated that she has no reason to apologize.

After the revelation of the vulgar prank online, Demi met and greeted her fans in Paris, France on Monday. Demi was leaving her hotel to go to a concert to perform, she found herself face-to-face with a swarm of fans who had gathered outside her hotel to meet her.

Demi was courteous and posed for pictures and signed autographs. This was her first public appearance after she was criticized online by her fans for her sexually-charged prank on her bodyguard Max.
