Emirati social media influencer, Salama Mohamed has finally confirmed that rumors of her separation from her husband, Khalid Al Ameri are true. She revealed this in an emotional interview to NourAldin Alyousuf.

At last, Emirati social media influencer, Salama Mohamed, 37 has confirmed that the rumors floating about her separation from her husband, Khalid Al Ameri are true. She gave an interview to YouTuber NourAldin Alyousuf. The first part of this interview is on the YouTube channel of NourAldin Alyousuf. While the second part will release soon. Her fans are eagerly waiting to view and hear it.
Salama stated that on 14 February 2024, Khalid and she have put an end to their married life. The court granted them divorce on this day. Rumors about their split started making rounds when the two stopped posting content on their joint social media account that later disappeared.
The rumors got stronger when Khalid uploaded a black and white picture of him holding his fiancee’s hand and wrote below it:
“Alhumdulilah (thank you)”
New-found independence and strength post-divorce
Additionally, in the interview, Salama went on to reveal details of her new-found independence after divorce. She is resilient and has stepped on to a journey of self-discovery. She said:
“For the first time, Salama’s life wasn’t dependent on anyone,”
“Before marriage, I was dependent on my family. After marriage, I was dependent on my husband. But now as an independent person, it’s the first time that I know Salama.”
The couple had a huge fan following of 3.8 million subscribers on their joint social media account on YouTube. They used to upload comedy videos and videos on relationship goals. They seemingly had good and dynamic chemistry between them. But it did not last.

Now, Salama has her own Instagram account with 1.6 million followers. She uploads comedy videos and her travel videos on it. Moreover, she also posts videos containing information on fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
Salama’s skin care line and vitiligo
Salama launched her own skincare line named Peacefull on Sephora. The products are meant for sensitive skin and claim to be made with love. They contain active natural ingredients and are safe. The social media influencer adds that the products bring peace to the skin and can adjust to extremes of weather conditions and temperatures. They have healing properties, according to her.
Earlier, Salama had told Emirati Woman that she is suffering from a skin condition called vitiligo. In this, there are well-demarcated hypopigmented patches on the skin. The influencer’s skin diagnosis was done when she was young. But she has learned to embrace her condition and live with it. She said:
“It was a struggle growing up, when you feel you are different and don’t fit in it is easier to think there is something wrong with you,”
The latest buzz is that YouTuber Khalid, 40 who is also an entrepreneur and Stanford University graduate, is engaged to the Nagpur-born South Indian actress and model, Sunainaa, 35.
