EastEnders star, English actor, Be Hardy, 33 had a heartbreak last month when he and his girlfriend, Jessica Plummer, 31 had a split. But Ben is back in the dating pool. He has registered for the celebrity dating app, Raya. Moreover, his account talks about his desire to have a beach wedding and a baby soon.

English actor of EastEnders fame, Ben Hardy, 33 suffered a heartbreak last month. But he is not a person to sit and grieve on it. He does not want to brood over the past. Hence, he is back into the dating pool without wasting any time.

Ben has registered his name on the celebrity dating app Raya. For his profile, Ben has put a string of images of himself on the red carpet. Some of the pics of him are shirtless. There are also some photos with friends and another one with a dog.

In the playlist section, he has posted tunes of famous singers such as Frank Ocean, Kanye West and also Marvin Gaye. The description of his account reads:

“Not looking for much. Just a beach wedding within 8 years and a baby within 7.”

Ben and Jessica Plummer: the relationship timeline

Ben and Jessica were cast together in the British television drama on BBC, The Girl Before. After their meeting on this show, they became friends and started dating in 2021. Their relationship lasted for eighteen months after which they split in late March 2024. An insider revealed to a reporter of The Mirror UK:

“Ben and Jessica were besotted with each other but work has meant they spent a lot of time apart.”
“Over time it’s taken its toll and recently they decided to call it a day.”

In 2015, one year before her pregnancy, she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and thought that she would have trouble conceiving. Hence, her pregnancy news came as a shock to her. She said:

“I always thought I’d struggle to have children. My periods had stopped and I was experiencing all these weird symptoms, so I went to the doctor who did the scan and told me I had PCOS.”
“I was told there was nothing really that could be done, given a leaflet and sent on my way. I had to Google it and thought I wouldn’t be able to have kids. I’ve since found out that lots of women with PCOS do go on to have kids.”

She continued:

“It’s not always been easy, but I feel like there is no ‘right’ time to have children. Yeah, I was only 23, but Noa’s dad and I grew up together, I’d known him since I was 14, so when it happened he was like: ‘I want the baby’ and I was like: ‘Me too! I’m so glad that you said that!’”

Their daughter, Noa arrived in July 2016. And the couple split in 2020. They co-parent the child well and amicably but Jessica is a single mom now, enjoying her freedom. She revealed:

“Noa’s dad and I have been in each other’s lives for such a long time. Yes, I am single right now, but I will always love him, he will always be my family and we fully share responsibility for Noa.”
“It is very equal, with both of our jobs things are so up in the air, but he is a wonderful dad and I don’t have a bad word to say about him as a parent.“
