The former Governor of Missouri, Eric Greitens, 46 is set to divorce his wife Sheena Greitens. The couple reached a mutual decision on it.
Sheena put up a joint statement about their divorce which read:
“After much reflection, counsel and prayer, we’ve made an amicable decision to end our marriage and move foward as co-parents who love our children.”
“Our focus remains on what’s best for our children. For their sake, we ask for privacy and will not be commenting further on this private family matter. We are grateful to the many people who have offered and continue to offer their support and prayers,”
Sheena’s statement came on Saturday 11 April 2020 morning.

Eric Greitens and his relationships
Eric Greitens was earlier married but he concluded that marriage in 2003.
He began a relationship with Sheena Chestnut and the two said I Do to each other on 7 August 2011 in Spokane in Washington.
Sheena is a professor in political science at the University of Missouri. The couple has three children together.

The couple was happy but in 2015, it came to light that Eric was having an extramarital affair with his stylist.
Despite that Sheena continued to be with him and in fact had tweeted about their wedding anniversary in 2017.
But now it seems that things in their marriage have hit rock bottom and hence they decided to call it quits.
