Who is Theresa Nist?

Theresa Nist is the love of Gerry Turner’s life!

The star of The Golden Bachelor gifted his final rose to Theresa Nist after sending another contestant, Leslie Fhima home on November 30, the finale season of the ABC’s hit reality series.

Nist said Yes and then accepted the coveted flower when the star down down on one knee to ask her hand in marriage. It was Turner’s final day of his romantic journey to find true love after the passing of his late wife Toni.

Before accepting the ring, Nist said to be future husband,

“I know how sometimes it feels like the whole world thinks love is only for the young, and quite honestly, at the age of 70, I was beginning to feel that myself,”
“I’m so madly in love with you, Gerry, and I feel that for us, life isn’t over, the best is yet to come.”

The couple is planning to move to Charleston, S.C. together and is planning to tie the knot soon.

Nist hails from New Jersey

Theresa comes from Shrewsberry, New Jersey. But she and Turner told People that they are relocating to South Carolina now that they are an engaged couple.

Turner who currently lives in Indiana said,

“One of the things that I think fate played a hand in is the possibility of where we might wind up living,”
“For the last couple of years, when my family gets together, I’ve talked about moving to South Carolina, and it’s an idea I’ve toyed with.”

After this, Nist revealed that her son lives near Charleston in South Carolina. That made it easier for them to decide where they should have their new home.

Turner said,

“And all of a sudden it’s like, there’s a big problem that is gone,”

What does Theresa do for a living?

While Turner is living his life after retiring, Nist is still working.

She currently works as a financial services professional, as a senior compliance and operations liaison, at TFS Financial Services, as per the company’s website.
