Heartbreak-to-business: Dubai Princess Shaikha Mahra launches a new perfume, ‘divorce’!
Dubai Princess Shaikha Mahra wasted no time in grieving her separation from her ex-husband, Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum. She had declared her divorce a few weeks back on her social media. And now, she has launched a provocative perfume titled Divorce. The name and timing shows her capacity to convert heartbreak to business.
Dubai Princess Shaikha Mahra launches a new perfume Divorce
Couples have unique ways to overcome sadness and grief of separation and divorce. Recently, the fierce and independent Dubai Princess Shaikha Mahra, 30 declared her divorce from her Emirati businessman husband, Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum on her Instagram in July 2024. She stated the word divorce three times on it writing:
“Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife.”
Shaikha is the daughter of Dubai ruler and UAE Prime minister, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Her mother is Greek national, Zoe Grigorakos, one of the many wives of Dubai ruler.
Shaikha is modern day Princess, an entrepreneur and a bold and independent woman. She did not waste anytime to lament over her divorce. Instead, she converted her heartbreak into a business by launching her new provocative perfume called Divorce.

Shaikha has uploaded multiple posts about her new perfume called Divorce. These are under her brand of Mahra M1.
One of the teaser video about the perfume shows broken glasses, black petals and also a black panther. The color of the perfume sleek container is also dark and blackish. On it is engraved the word Divorce. All these are pointers to her recent divorce. The name and timing match it.
Shaikha has been an advocate of Arab women’s rights and empowerment. The teaser has sparked a lot of interest worldwide in this new product.
Mahra M1
After her split from husband, Shaikha founded her own perfume line and branded it Mahra M1. And her debut fragrance in this is Divorce.
She has posted herself holding the new perfume sleek container on her Instagram. In this photo, she is wearing white outfit signifying calmness, simplicity, and purity. It is a bold indirect statement to the world that she is not affected by the current upheavals in her personal life.
Shaikha was born on 29 February 1994. Her mother is of Greek ethnicity. Shaikha shares a strong and loving bond with her. And often, she uploads photos of her pretty mother on her social media. In an interview, Shaikha had said:
“My upbringing was deeply rooted in Greek culture by my mother, and as a result, I feel a strong sense of connection to it. Maintaining close ties with my family is a significant priority in my life, as it serves as a means to remain closely connected to my cultural heritage. I am fluent in the Greek language and make an effort to visit my homeland as frequently as my circumstances allow.”
