Isaac Hayes was a Late American Actor, Singer, Songwriter, and Composer. Isaac became well-known in 1969 with the publication of his seminal album Hot Buttered Soul, a ground-breaking work that helped redefine the soul music genre.

Moreover, Hayes was seen as Charlie the Chef in Return to Sleepaway Camp (Horror Mystery) in 2008.

At the age of 20, Isaac Hayes started working as a studio musician for Stax Records. He was a songwriter and producer by the late 1960s, creating successful songs for Stax artists including Sam and Dave.

His Death Cause

Isaac Hayes suffered a small stroke in January, according to Fox News’ Roger Friedman on March 20, 2006. Hayes’ spokesperson, Amy Harnell, disputed this, although Hayes acknowledged his stroke on October 26, 2006.

Lee was discovered unconscious at his house, just east of Memphis, on August 10, 2008, ten days before his 66th birthday, according to the Shelby County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office. After three family members discovered him dead on the floor next to a still-running treadmill, a Shelby County Sheriff’s officer and an ambulance from Rural Metro came to his home.

Isaac Hayes was rushed to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, where he died at 2:08 p.m. The reason for death was not immediately evident, however, a return of stroke was eventually listed as the cause of death by the local medical examiners. He was laid to rest in Memphis’ Memorial Park Cemetery.
