Split alert! Jackie Bonds and Josh Demas are no longer a romantic couple. The dental assistant, 27, has confirmed that she and Josh have split up after more than a year of dating.

The breakup news comes a few weeks after the Love Is Blind: After the Altar special aired on Netflix.

On Monday, September 18, Bonds went Instagram live where she revealed they had broken up after she had a conversation with Demas’ ex-girlfriend Monica Rodriguez.

She shared in the clip,

“[I’m] still sick about it low-key. I love that man, I was like, ‘Damn, I had all these life plans with you, you know? And then you just don’t even care,’ and I’m like, that’s crazy, over a conversation with somebody? — It don’t matter.”

She acknowledged that she “tried to fix” before they ended things for good.

“I tried doing everything I could and what’s crazy is back on these messages I look like a begging ass b—ch and I never beg no one to be with me,”

However, Demas has yet to comment on their breakup news.

When did Jackie Bonds and Josh Demas begin dating?

Jackie and Josh first met in the pods during season 4 of LIB, filmed in 2022. Although they formed a strong bond, the dental assistant ultimately engaged with Marshall Glaze during the season.

However, their relationship didn’t long last, and they called off the engagement.

Jackie then rekindled her romance with Josh after he confessed his feelings for her. In April 2022, the two made things official, and a year later Bonds gave an update on their relationship status in an interview with Us Weekly.

“Me and Josh – we live together, We’re going on a year on the 27th of Aril. This is exactly how it was supposed to happen”

In May, Bonds gushed over Demas during a May Instagram Story Q&A, revealing,

“I always dreamed for a love like this. He really is my twin. We both make each other laugh. He understands me, he is such a man of patience, He is my person I love him I’d marry him a thousand times over & have 49 kids with. The love I feel for him is unimaginable. Part of my chromosome, part of my DNA.”
