Who is Jackson Wang?
Jackson Wang is a popular rapper, singer, composer, and dancer from Hong Kong, South Korea. He rose to prominence as a member of JYP Entertainment’s South Korean boy group Got7, as well as the creator of the record label Team Wang, where he works as the creative director and main designer for its subsidiary apparel brand Team Wang Design.
Dream Knight, Inkigayo, and Street Dance of China 3 are among his other credits. He was most recently seen in Jackson Wang & Ciara: Slow and Jackson Wang: Cheetah.
Jackson Wang: Bio, Age, Parents, Ethnicity
Wang Ka-yee known as Jackson Wang or Wang Jia’er, was born in Kowloon Tong, British Hong Kong, on March 28, 1994. He is 29 years old. He is of Chinese origin and belongs to the Hong Kong ethnic group.
Wang Ruiji, his father’s athlete, and Sophia Chow, his mother’s gymnast, gave birth to him. He is the youngest son, with an elder sibling whose name is still being researched. He began fencing lessons at the age of ten. Wang went on to win several honors as a member of Hong Kong’s national fencing squad.

Jackson Wang was seen by a representative of South Korean talent agency JYP Entertainment in 2010 while playing basketball at his school and was invited to participate in the worldwide auditions in Kowloon, where he passed the audition.
While training for the London Olympics in 2012, he was given a fencing scholarship to Stanford University, but he declined. Wang relocated to Seoul, South Korea, to pursue his K-pop training.

Jackson Wang appeared on the reality survival show Win: Who Is Next in 2013. After being chosen as a part of the GOT7 group, the band released its first song, “Girls Girls Girls,” off their first EP Got It? in 2014. He debuted as a cast member on SBS’s Roommate in its second season.
In 2015, he appeared in Dream Knight and The Producer. Wang appeared on Go Fridge, the Chinese version of the show Please Take Care of My Refrigerator. In seasons 2 and 3, he also authored the words, composed, and orchestrated the show’s theme music. Wang was named the host of Hunan TV’s Fresh Sunday in 2016.
