Janid is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and actress. She rose to prominence after releasing the 2014 Spanish album La Magia.

Later in 2015, she also released the single Penicilina and it climbed to No. 25 on the Tropical Billboard Chart, No. 6 in Puerto Rico, and No. 2 in the Dominican Republic.

In addition, she also started her reality show on Mega TV, Janid: Atrediva.

Janid was born in Puerto Rico. However, her exact birth date and birthplace are unknown. From the beginning of her childhood, she had a keen interest in music and also learned ballet, singing, and piano lessons.

Concerning her education, Janid attended her school choir and later joined a Gospel choir in South Carolina. Later, the Puerto Rican singer completed her graduation from the Universidad de Puerto Rico with a Bachelor of Communications, Communication, and General.

Janid began her music career as a musician with a hit single Goddess in 2006. A year later, she landed another huge hit ONE in 2007.

Later in 2015, Janid also released the single Penicilina and it climbed to No. 25 on the Tropical Billboard Chart, No. 6 in Puerto Rico, and No. 2 in the Dominican Republic.

Moreover, Janid has also released a couple of more songs such as Twisted, Alias, La Magia, and a few more. In addition, she also started her reality show on Mega TV, Janid: Atrediva.

Besides this, the famous Puerto Rican singer has also appeared in several movies such as El Ultimo Caso del Detective Prado, El Fondillo Maravilloso, Start-Up, and a few more.

Furthermore, she has also worked as Marketing Director, and Executive Producer at Watermoon Entertainment from 2015 to 2016. Apart from that, Janid has also served as a Copywriter for JetBlue Airways from 2005 to 2011.
