Happiness came again in the life of Married at First Sight star, Jasmine Secrest. After a failed marriage and attempt to find her soul mate on the reel show, Jasmine found a new man for herself in the real world.

And Jasmine’s new boyfriend has now proposed to her. The reality TV star shared the news about it on her Instagram with a video.

In the shared video, her new boyfriend was on one kneel in front of her with a small box containing the engagement ring. And Jasmine was looking at him amazed and with joy.

She tagged the post with a number of engagement and marriage emojis. Other hashtags she added were:

The room where Jasmine’s boyfriend proposed seemed to be a rented banquet hall with three Christmas trees. In front of the tree was a black carpet that was layered with petals of red roses. There was also a big-sized lighted up ‘MARRY ME’ sign.

As Jasmine entered this room that already had the presence of her friends and family members, she was crying. The attendees gave her a red rose each before she met her boyfriend on the carpet.

Her boyfriend whispered something in her ears and then proposed to her in the traditional way with an engagement ring. She said yes. And also Jasmine hugged and planted a kiss on her fiance’s face.

It looked like it was a surprise engagement for Jasmine that was planned in advance by her boyfriend in unison with her friends and family.

About Jasmine Secrest’s career and broken marriage

Jasmine hails from Tennessee in the USA and is an esthetician and a dog breeder. She also had participated in a beauty pageant before and holds its title of a winner.

The newly-engaged star was in season 16 of the show Married at First Sight that was broadcast in 2023. On the show, she wed Airris Williams. The two had gelled well on the show.

However, it came to light later on that Airris and Jasmine did not have a physical connection. Hence, Airris had not slept with Jasmine.

The couple told the shocked experts on Decision Day that they wanted a divorce. Airris thought that Jasmine was wonderful and supportive but he wanted something more from the marriage.

However, he preferred to not mention what he was looking for more in the marriage. But he did say that Jasmine’s body type was unlike those he was used to seeing in his previous girlfriends.

Jasmine felt sad but added that it needs both partners’ efforts to make the marriage successful. Airris was a self-lover unlike Jasmine. Jasmine believed he ghosted women and was non-committal.
