Tension seems to be brewing in the lives of American actor, Ben Affleck and his wife, Jennifer Lopez. The two have allegedly broken up and are living in different houses.

Multiple sources have disclosed that American actor and filmmaker, Ben Affleck, 51 and his wife, Jennifer Lopez are no more together. They have split and are residing under different roofs presently.

After a long gap of nearly two months, the two were spotted together at a school event of their kids. But an insider has stated that though the two are in Los Angeles, they are not staying in the same house. Jennifer, 54 is at their main Los Angeles home while Ben is at their another property in Los Angeles. He is currently filming for his movie, The Accountant 2.

The two have been spending time alone and attending various events of their respective careers solo. Jennifer was at the Met Gala 2024 as a Co-chairman but Ben was not with her at that time. In last few months, she was filming for her movie, Kiss of the Spider Woman in New York. She was also busy in the promotion of her film on Netflix, Atlas. While, in between his film shooting, Ben was at the 5th May live Roast of Tom Brady alone sans Jennifer.

The relationship timeline of the couple

Jennifer and Ben were in a relationship from 2002 to 2004. This romance had grabbed a lot of headlines. Later, they drifted apart.

However, in 2021, the two rekindled their romance. The following year on 20 August, they said I Do to each other in Georgia. The family members present at this wedding included Max and Emme, 16, twins of Jennifer with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, and also Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, Ben’s children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

Jennifer had shared photos of their wedding on her social media on their first wedding anniversary in August 2023. But there were other things that prompt people to suspect the continuity of their relationship.

Hints that imply all is not well

Neither Ben nor Jennifer have yet spoken about their relationship issues or split. Their reps also have made no statement on it. But a source said that for the 16 May 2024 event to support their kids, Jennifer and Ben arrived at the venue separately. However, they did leave together. Ben had picked up Jennifer and Emme. And both of them had their wedding rings on.

There have been rumors about their likely split for some time now. On 19 March 2024, Jennifer had liked a post on social media that talked about relationship red flags.

Both had appeared in the recent documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told. In the documentary, Ben says:

“Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media. Then I sort of realized it’s not a fair thing to ask. It’s sort of like, you’re gonna marry a boat captain and you go, ‘Well, I don’t like the water.’ ”

Further, he continued:

“We are two people with different kinds of approaches trying to learn to compromise.”
