Happy Anniversary! Jennifer Lopez is celebrating a major milestone with his husband Ben Affleck.

The If You Had My Love singer, 54, took to Instagram on Sunday, August 20, to wish her husband a happy anniversary sharing unseen pictures from their dreamy wedding ceremony of a year ago.

In the first photo of the series, Affleck carries Lopez in her white wedding dress with flowing short sleeves and a long white veil.

While the actor, 51, wore a white tuxedo and shirt with a black bow tie. The pair shares a passionate kiss under a wooden arch at night in another photo, with fireworks lighting up in the sky.

In that photo, Lopez wore her second white dress that featured a plunging neckline draped with pearls.

Similarly, she simply wrote in her caption,

“One year ago today …”

Further, she added some of the lyrics to her new song ” Dear Ben Part II” from her upcoming album This Is Me…Now.

“Dear Ben, Sitting here alone, Looking at my ring ring, Feeling overwhelmed, It makes me, wanna sing sing, How did we end up here, Without a rewind, Oh my, This is my life…”

The anniversary post comes the same week when Jennifer Lopez shared a picture of herself wearing a necklace that spelled out his name, ‘BEN’. In the caption section, she wrote,

“This Is… August (so far),”

In July, The Mother star also celebrated her Las Vegas wedding to Affleck as she shared two snapshots of her wearing a white minidress decorated with rhinestones.

She captioned the post,

“One year since our Midnight Trip To Vegas …,”

Jennifer first met Ben in early 2002 on the set of Gigli. However, she was married to her second husband Cris Judd at the time.

Judd and Lopez were separated by that mid-year. In July 2002, the singer was spotted kissing Affleck at her surprise 32nd birthday party, two days after she filed for divorce.

In November, Affleck also made an appearance in J.Lo’s “Jenny from the Block” music. He proposed to Lopez that same month as she met his family in Boston.

The couple planned to wed in September 2003, however, they shocked fans by announcing their decision to postpone the ceremony on the day before their wedding.

Four months later, the news circulated that the pair parted ways.

In 2014, the former couple finalized their divorce. Ben, on the other hand, also married his co-star Jennifer Garner in June 2005. They had three children together Violet, Seraphina, and Sam.

Rekindle Romance

Since Jennifer and Ben both divorce their partners, the former exes are rumored to be rekindling their romance in early May 2021. They were spotted together at several events.
