Jess Harding has moved on from her breakup with her ex-boyfriend Sammy Root.

Last year, she broke up with Sammy over the phone while out partying in Ibiza with friends just weeks after the pair won the ITV2 dating show.

The Love Island star, 22, revealed her present relationship status on her recent Instagram stories on Monday, March 18.

During the Q&A session, a fan asked if she is still single to which Jess simply replied saying, “No” alongside a heart emoji.

She has been hinting at her love life since earlier by featuring a mystery man on her Instagram stories. However, she has neither tagged him nor disclosed any specifics regarding his identity.

As such, it’s been difficult to find out who is he. What’s her relationship with him?

Additionally, she posted a selfie of herself with the man, writing next to the image “2024.” This has led to speculation that their relationship could have just begun at the beginning of this year.

One user wrote, referring to the photo,

“He’s not bad looking as it goes. He’s popped up a couple of times on her stories, blink and you’ll miss him,”

While speaking with MailOnline, Sammy expressed that he has no immediate plans to enter into a new relationship.

He told the outlet,

“I think what a lot of people don’t understand is that you are going from a sheltered villa with around 10 people in it, to the whole world in your ear. You receive messages, people talk about you, people make up things and get involved.”
“When you come out and you’re trying to work on your own career, all of this put together, it is hard to still have a nice, easy-going relationship and I think sometimes it just affects you a little bit. So yeah, I think that’s where it was, but there’s no blame on anyone.”

Similarly, when asked about his single life, he said at the time,

“I mean, I’m literally just working on myself, trying to better myself, and that’s all I’m really caring about. I’m fresh out of a breakup. I’m not really looking to get into another one or anything, I’m literally just working on my career right now and trying to have a bit of fun in the meantime as well.”
