Jesse Lee Soffer and Tracy Spiridakos are not only a reel couple. Chicago P.D. co-stars Jesse and Tracy have reportedly been dating for a while.

The New York Post confirmed that the couple has secretly been together for ‘years’. For six years, the two shared the screen on the NBC drama.

Tracy joined the show in 2016 as “Detective Hailey Upton,” while Jesse had playing the role of “Senior Detective Jay Halstead.”

However, their characters later partnered up and married during the ninth season.

Soffer has already exited from the show. In August 2022, he announced his departure after 10 years of contributing to the show, with his final appearance in the episode “A Good Man.”

He said at the time,

“I really wanted to grown and expand, and we’ve only got this one trip. If I signed up again, it would have been for another three years. I would have turned 40 on the show. I thought, ‘You know what? It’s time to take a risk.'”

Similarly, Tracy shared a farewell post for Jesse, sharing a cute selfie of the two of them with a caption,

“I guess the world is out … Jesse, what can I say, You’re the absolute best. Thank you for your kindness, your guidance, and your friendship, You’re the greatest onscreen husband a girl could ask for. I’ll miss being on set with you every day. I can’t wait to see what the world has in store for you next.”

“I’ve thought so hard about to answer this question — and there’s no good answer, Except I was ready for more. Eventually, you know the character so well, there’s not much that can shift or transform.”

Tracy said she felt “like a real couple” with Spiridakos while filming her role in an interview with NBC in September 2023.

In October 2023, Tracy was reported to be leaving after eight seasons. The production is currently filming its 11th season.

In February 2023, Jesse made his directorial debut. He directed “Deadlocked,” the 16th episode of Chicago P.D., which aired on March 22, 2023.

The actor raved about his first-ever experience working behind the camera for television while speaking with Niagara Frontier Publications.

“I was so nervous going into it, But I know P.D. so well, and we’re such a tight-knit family as that cast and crew, and it was really rewarding. Once we started rolling, and we got on set and started playing, it was just like any other episode.”
