KT Smith and Luke Scornavacco split up!
Split alert! Katie “KT” Smith, the ex-girlfriend of country music star Morgan Wallen, has split from her husband, Luke Scornavacco, after just nine months of marriage.
On Tuesday, January 14, KT announced on her Instagram stories that she and Scornavacco have parted ways.
She expressed that sharing this news was difficult for her, acknowledging that many fans had been invested in their relationship.
She wrote,
“As difficult as it is to share this, I know that a lot of you guys have been invested in our relationship since we used to post together a lot at the beginning of our relationship,”
“I wanted to give you an update.. especially since we’ve both been hounded with questions. And that’s totally understandable. Luke and I have decided to separate.”
However, Smith then revealed that she would keep the details of her separation from her husband Luke Scornavacco private. She stated,
“We won’t be sharing about it, because there truly isn’t much to share. we both have to do what’s best for us, as well as Indigo, while he’s still as young as he is,”
KT Smith is a mother to a 4-year-old son, Indigo, whom she shared with her ex-fiance Morgan Wallen.
Smith expressed that there is “nothing but love on both sides” and clarified that neither party is at fault for the split. She added,
“We just haven’t worked out in a while, and we both need to be the best version of ourselves,”
She then concludes the statement while noting that they will still be “rooting each other on from a distance.”
