Lea Michele rushed her son, Ever to the hospital

Lea Michele revealed via Instagram that her 2-year-old son Ever has been hospitalized with a “scary health issue.”

The Broadway star who is playing Fanny Brice in the revival of Funny Girl on Broadway wrote an apology to Funny Girl fans via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday after being absent onstage.

Mentioning the reason for her absence, the 36-year-old shared a photo of her hand on her son’s arm with a caption that read,

“I’m so sorry but unfortunately I will be out of @funnygirlbway today,”
”We are at the hospital with our son dealing with a scary health issue that I need to be here for,”

The actress apologized as she asked everyone to send her prayers for love and strength.

In the Glee alum’s heartbreaking social media post, her baby boy could be seen cuddling up to his stuffed pig.

Michele did not provide any further information on her baby’s condition.

The musical also announced that Lea would not be performing in Wednesday’s matinee and evening performances via social media.

It read,

‘Lea Michele will be out of both performances today, Wednesday, March 22. Julie Benko will be your fabulous Fanny!’

Lea gave birth to her baby boy as her first child with husband Zandy Reich in August 2020 after a “very intense, very scary” pregnancy.
