Anna had just completed her multi-day work schedule. She was covering Hurricane Sandy. After her hard and long working day, she was dirty and tired. And she was attempting to reach her apartment. But there was a crane collapse on the way that blocked the complete road. She could not reach her accommodation.

It was destiny that she met this handsome and courteous guy who had an Australian accent. He was with a group of friends at W New York hotel bar in Times Square. He was there for some work and at that time, his actual place of work was London.

They spoke and the next night went out for a drink together. He returned the next day to London. But love sparks had already begun both sides. They started a relationship but it was a long distance one.

The couple’s courtship period

The romance of the couple continued across the Atlantic. Anna used to do a lot of overtime. That gave her money plus time off to meet her boyfriend, Tim in between. They would meet sometimes in London, sometimes in Prague and at other times in Miami or Boston.

They had a lot of fun together in this way. But alas! This was not to last. Because Tim’s company transferred him back to Australia. And with that, their meet-ups became more challenging. They were costly and expensive too. Finding it hard to work their relationship, Anna broke off. And for two months, they did not talk.

The reunion and wedding

On the last day of 2013, Tim called up Anna to wish her Happy New Year. While they talked, both admitted that they are indeed missing each other. After they put their phones down, Tim thought for a while. And then he decided to quit his job and relocate to New York City to be with his love Anna.

And he had made the shift by spring of 2014. Later, in February 2015, they got engaged and married on 31 July 2015. But soon, Anna’s work got stressful. She recalls:

It was stressful,”

“I remember I would just feel this like Ugghhhhh. I don’t think I knew it then, but like anxious feelings. Just too much to be in the middle of politics all the time. It just doesn’t fit me, you know? And we were doing fewer and fewer fun things on our show, because that’s not what the ratings wanted. The ratings wanted divisive politics.”

In January 2018, she delivered a son called Brooks. Anna started her fitness programs and website and also did some intermittent work for Fox TV. She got pregnant again and covid-19 pandemic came in. In May 2020, her daughter Annabel was born.
