Malaysian celebrity preacher Da’i Farhan and his personal life! Two marriages and two divorces and a return to first wife!
  • Some people really cannot decide properly. The same is true of the controversial celebrity preacher from Malaysia Da’i Farhan.
  • Last year, he married a mother of eight kids, Dr. Erin in Mecca. At that time, his first wife was pregnant with their second child.
  • He divorced her via voice note. And now he has divorced his pregnant second wife and returned to wife no. 1!!!

Da’i Farhan and his second divorce

Malaysian celebrity preacher Nik Ahmad Farhan Nik Mohamad or Da’i Farhan is never away from the spotlight. It is not due to his profession but more due to his personal life.

He had married a mother of eight children Noorainul Naqim Mohd Rodzi or Dr. Erin last year. But now Erin took to her Instagram to reveal that she and her husband Da’i have split.

She uploaded the information on her official Instagram page @drholisw. But after putting up the message of the split, she has set the Instagram page to private.

She justified the divorce stating that it was in the interest of everyone including his first wife. She titled the post ‘Chapter 3 and the Last’. But luckily one Twitter user managed to take a screenshot of the lengthy post.

Dr. Erin’s long post about her divorce

The mother-of-eight wrote about the divorce and the reasons for it. Erin stated:

“For everyone’s information, Ustaz (Nik Farhan) asked for a divorce on April 27 after I requested to be let go,”

She continued:

“I’m confident this is the best solution for the three of us. I know the ‘other party’ is having trouble moving on and I asked for the divorce because I’m tired of all the drama as well.”

She went on to say that she had enough of the back and forth since Da’i could not decide one way or the other. He was unable to simplify his complicated love life.

Furthermore, Erin noted:

“One minute he says he wants to go back to her (Fatin) and divorce me, the next he says he’s trying to work out a polygamous relationship and no divorce,”

“I know he feels like he is to blame for everything. So I chose to be willingly divorced. I hope nobody associates the two of us with each other from now on.”

The problems in his second marriage arose when earlier this year, he decided to visit his kids from his first wife. Erin recalled:

“On February 11, I allowed Ustaz to go back to his ex-wife. After visiting his kids, he told me that he couldn’t be far away from them anymore,”

Erin further narrated:

“He also said that in order for him to be able to stay with his children, he would have to divorce me because Fatin doesn’t want her kids to be raised in a polygamous family.”

Erin took her husband personally and handed him over to his first wife. She stated:

“I’m alright with it. I’m resigned to accept it as a test of letting go of someone I love, rather than seeing him suffer because he misses his children. So I gave in.”

She no more trusts Da’i and has made efforts to speed up the divorce. Additionally, she wrote:

“I was determined to end it during Ramadan, for the sake of everyone. Then I found out that I was pregnant. But I chose to stick with my decision to get the divorce.”

“I want to apologize to anyone who was offended or affected by my marriage Nik Farhan. I never wanted any of this to happen. And I only accepted his proposal because of the good religious values I saw in him.”

Da’i married Erin in Mecca in 2019 when his first wife Fatin was pregnant with their second baby. He sent a voice note to Fatin and ended his marriage to her.
