The announcement came shortly after a challenging period for the couple, as they lost their home due to the Los Angeles wildfires just weeks earlier.

Jarah announced the birth on Instagram on January 31, 2025, sharing a heartfelt message that reflected on their recent struggles.

In her post, she wrote,

“Houseless, never homeless, Welcome back Ke’ala Coral Ventimiglia 1.23.25,”

She detailed how they had to evacuate from the Palisades Fire on January 7, losing both their current home and another under construction.

“Jan 7th my family & I evacuated from the Palisades Fire. We lost our home that we were living in & everything we own, as well as our home under construction that we were about to move into.”

At that time, she was 38 weeks pregnant and had previously evacuated during another fire just weeks before. She continued,

“We are deeply grateful to all of the heroes who help battle fires, as well as care for everyone affected by the aftermath for years to come, This will be an extended process of rebuilding and grieving for many, but we are feeling optimistic & inspired to welcome all of the exciting newness of our fresh start!”

Even though they lost their home, the new mom said that what “truly” mattered most was that she and her family were “together, happy, healthy, and safe.”

Mariano thanked everyone who helped them, including friends, family, her birthing team, and the hospital staff.

She concluded the statement by stating,

“Your love & generosity means everything to us, Gentle reminder to all, to please allow us this time & space to nest with our newborn in such a delicate phase. We already have everything we need in abundance & will be back around with updates in our own time.”

How long have Milo Ventimiglia and Jarah Mariano been together?

Milo Ventimiglia and Jarah Mariano were first rumored to be in a relationship in 2022 when an Instagram gossip account called Deuxmoi posted a photo of them together, revealing they were dating.

In September 2023, the couple got married in a private ceremony attended by family and close friends.

In February 2024, Ventimiglia provided an update on their married life during an interview with Extra, expressing that “things are good.”

The second image featured both her and Ventimiglia making the shaka sign, a symbol of Hawaiian culture, with Mariano captioning the post,

“Baby on board!”
