Mitchel Musso Arrested! Charged with Public Intoxication and Theft

Mitchel Musso got entangled in legal trouble

Mitchel Musso was arrested on Saturday night, August 26, in Rockwall, Texas on charges of public intoxication and theft.

The Rockwall Police Department received a call about a disturbance at a hotel on Lakefront Trail in Rockwall, Texas at around 7:15 p.m.

Reports claim the 32-year-old actor entered a hotel, grabbed a bag of chips, and started eating them. When the person in charge asked for payment, the actor became verbally abusive and left without paying.

Similarly, when officers tried to understand him outside the hotel he showed signs of intoxication. After that, he was taken into custody at the Rockwall County Detention Center for public intoxication and suspicion of theft (under $100).

They detained him overnight and, after paying a $1,000 bond, he got released on Sunday.

While reviewing his criminal history, he had several outstanding traffic warrants out of the Rockwall Police Department.

In 2012, Los Angeles police arrested the Hannah Montana star for a DUI. He pleaded no contest to driving with a blood alcohol level over 0.08. The court sentenced him to 36 months of informal probation, alcohol classes, and a fine.

Musso released a statement at that time, stating,

I appreciate the court allowing me to resolve my case in the manner it did today, In becoming an adult, I have learned first hand that stepping up and taking responsibility is the best way to move forward.”

“I am especially thankful to my family and fans for their unwavering support and encouragement. I am glad to now put this in the past.”

Mitchel is an American actor who rose to prominence for his role as Oliver, the best friend of Miley Cyrus’ character on Hannah Montana. The show ran for 5 years from 2006 to 2011.

In the fourth and final season of the series, Mitchel only made a guest appearance in two episodes. He left the show in preparation for the Disney XD series Pair of Kings.

Besides, he voiced Jeremy Johnson on the animated series Phineas and Ferb. He hosts the Disney Channel’s PrankStars as well.
