Pink apologizes to fans for postponing concerts
Pop star Pink canceled two of her concerts due to a family medical emergency.
The So What hitmaker shared on Instagram on Monday to announce that she will be postponing both her shows in Tacoma, Wash., on Wednesday and Thursday.
The singer wrote,
“Family medical issues require our immediate attention. I send everyone my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused,”
“I am sending nothing but love and health to all.”
While the singer did not provide details on the issue, she reassured her followers that the dates will be rescheduled soon.
Fans showed their support for the Just Give Me a Reason songstress and showered her with well wishes.
One person commented on her post,
“Lots of love to you and the fam. We will all be there whenever you are ready for us. Nothing but love and good thoughts coming your way!!”
Another wrote,
“Take care and I hope everything is okay,”
A third user commented,
“Can’t say I’m not bummed but family comes first and we’ll see you when everyone is good,”
The Grammy winner is expected to return to the state on Friday for her performance in Vancouver, Canada.
Pink’s family emergency comes days after she kicked off her Trustfall Tour in the US on Oct. 12.

Pink last postponed a show due to her health condition
Her North America leg of the Tour will end on November 28 in Tulsa, Oakland before kicking it off to Europe in the Spring.
The last time the singer canceled her show was back in September. At the time, she postponed her Arlington, Texas, concert due to a sinus infection.
She wrote on Instagram at the time,
“I am so disappointed. You know I do everything in my power to never miss a show,”
“I hope to see you then, and again, am so deeply sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.”
The strange announcement came after a concertgoer threw her mother’s ashes on the stage during her in June.
After the shocking incident, Pink picked up the plastic bag holding the cremated remains. She asked the concertgoer, “Is this your mom?”
She added with a weird expression, “I don’t know how I feel about this,”
Fans on the internet then praised the singer for handling the situation so calmly.
One user wrote at the time,
”She handled it well cause I’d definitely be mad that someone handed me their mom’s ashes,”
Another added,
“I understand why some celebrities are standoffish now.”
A third commented,
“It was the complete look of shock/confusion on [Pink’s] face for me. She handled that well because that was really strange,”
