Roddy Ricch was born Rodrick Wayne Moore, Jr. on 22nd October 1998 in Compton, California. He is of All-American ethnicity.

Moving towards his childhood, he started rapping and singing at the age of 8. He spent his youth in Atlanta, Georgia. Later, he started making beats by the age of 16.

– In March 2018, he released his EP, Be 4 Tha Fame. In July 2018, in collaboration with the rapper, London Tyler Holmes, he launched the single, Die Young dedicated to his childhood friend.

– Following that, he launched the track, Project Dreams with DJ, Marshmello. The track peaked at the 28th position in the US Rhythmic (Billboard).

– On 6th December 2019, he released his debut album, Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial with 16 tracks. The album spent four weeks on the Billboard 200 list. Also, it received a Platinum certification from RIAA.

– In early 2020, he appeared in various albums like Wunna and the song, Walk Em Down and Rockstar.
