Ruby Franke and Kevin Franke have reportedly parted ways for more than a year.
Kevin filed for divorce from his now-estranged wife on Wednesday, November 29.
The divorce news comes almost three months after Rudy was arrested for child abuse.

‘Divorce alert!’ Kevin Franke and Ruby Franke are no longer a married couple. The 8 Passengers YouTuber’s husband filed for divorce from her after she was found guilty in a child abuse case.

In September, Ruby was charged with six counts of felony child abuse in Utah. She is currently being held without bail by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the court document, Mr. Frank also filed a domestic relations injunction, which forbids Ruby and Kevin from harassing one another or disparaging the other in front of their children.

The couple had been living apart for more than a year, as initially disclosed by Randy Kester, Kevin’s attorney, in September.

Randy continued to support Kevin’s parenting during his interview with Good Morning America, praising him,

“He is a good person, he’s very gentle, He’s a very gentle guy. And no one has ever made any allegations that he’s physically abused those kids or anyone else.”
“He just wants to do what’s best for his kids, get them back, get them under his tutelage and his fathership and protect them.”

According to the Santa Clara-Ivins PSD, the children are currently in the custody of Utah’s Division of Child and Family Services.

How was Ruby Franke and Kevin Franke’s marriage life?

Kevin had previously stated that once Ms. Franke and Jodi Hildebrandt became business partners, his marriage was entirely shattered.

Jodi is a mental health counselor who recorded parenting videos alongside Ruby.

He alleged Ms. Hildebrandt “manipulated” him and “destroyed his family.”

Jodi is also a suspect in the September child abuse case, along with Ruby Framke. According to court filings, Ms. Hildebrandt applied honey and cayenne pepper to the wounds on the bodies of Franke’s children.
