The actress announced the exciting news while walking on the red carpet of Succession.
Lawson also accompanied his wife of two years to the premiere of the show.

Sarah Snook is expecting her first child with her husband of two years Dave Lawson.

The Succession star revealed her pregnancy on the red carpet at the Season 4 premiere of the hit HBO Max series on Monday.

The 35-year-old proudly flaunted her baby bump in a black figure-hugging jumpsuit which she paired with a silver, floor-length cardigan. She completed her look with a matching diamond necklace.

Lawson, on the other hand, was also present at the premiere to show support for his pregnant wife. He looked dapper in a simple black suit and white button-up.

The actress told ET about her new role as a mother, saying,

“It’s exciting!”
“I feel great.”

Snook plays the character Shiv Roy on the Emmy-winning series revealed that she was filming the show’s final season while still pregnant. Thankfully, she assured fans that it wasn’t a distraction from all the action.

Snook laughed and said, “I mean, you couldn’t super tell.”

She also noted that her big belly was not super big at the time while filming the show.

Snook and Lawson fell in love during the COVID-19 lockdown

Surprisingly, the actress is already 32 weeks pregnant and it is not long before she gets to meet the little bundle of joy.

The Golden Globe winner and her husband, 44, were friends for years before changing their friendship into a relationship in 2020.

In October 2021, Snook told Vogue Australia,

“We’ve been friends since 2014, lived together, traveled together, always excited to see each other, but totally platonic,”

The pair realized their love for one another while quarantining together during the COVID-2019 lockdown. Just a few months after their romance started, Snook popped the question to the love of her life.

The lovebirds tied the knot in February 2021 in an intimate ceremony in the backyard of the actress’s Brooklyn home.

While Snook will be experiencing motherhood for the first time, Lawson has a son from her previous marriage.

While the comedian does not talk much about his son, he said that fatherhood was the best thing to ever happen to him.

The actor who appeared on the Funny in Failure podcast last year said,

“I can’t have regrets because I wouldn’t have [my son]. It’s that problem, if you go back in time and change one thing,”
”A lot of it comes back to being a dad. If I change one thing … I wouldn’t want to risk undoing that.”
