In the following year, she played Sajida Talfah in the HBO original drama House of Saddam which earned her the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie.

Similarly, she received Career Achievement Award from the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans on October 9, 2010.

She continued to work in films like Septembers of Shiraz, The Odd Life of Timothy Green, and Star Trek Beyond and on the small screen starring as a guest in a series named House, The Simpsons, Law, and Order: Special Victims Unit, M.D., AND NCIS.
