How did Erin Foster and Simon Tikhman meet?
Erin Foster and Simon Tikhman met each other through mutual friends in Los Angeles. They started dating in August 2018. A year later in August, they got engaged on a trip to Napa Valley. Erin’s sister could not wait to share the news of Erin and Simon’s engagement and posted about her engagement.
Simon had planned a beautiful day to surprise Erin and a stunning diamond ring. Erin thought that they were going to a friend’s wedding renewal party in Napa Valley, but was taken aback when she found out it was all a well-executed plan to surprise her with the perfect proposal.
Likewise, she had no clue that her sister Sara Foster, stepmom Katharine McPhee and father David were hiding while they toured the gorgeous Napa Valley Reserve. She wrote on Instagram,
“When we got there, there were balloons and signs for this fake ass wedding. We walked in to the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. Nothing has remotely dawned on me at this point. I’m definitely not as bright as i thought.”
Tikhman went on to one knee and asked Erin to be his wife with an incredible diamond ring made by jeweler Martin Katz. Just after that Erin saw every one of her family running towards her to surprise Erin. She was shocked to see that and it was a perfect proposal for her.
1st Wedding Anniversary of Simon and Erin
Erin Foster shared a video as a celebration of their first Wedding Anniversary on New Year’s Eve 2021. At the beginning of the video was a clip from the 4th of July 2020 during a pandemic.
They joked about if it would be their last 4th of July together. After that was a video of their wedding. Simon and Erin shared their vows where Erin’s was both funny and emotional at the same time.
Erin wrote the caption,
“Yesterday was our first wedding anniversary. There are no sayings about surviving a pandemic locked in your house together in your first year of marriage, but I bet if you do it’s a good sign for the future. Here’s to another hundred with you @simontik”
It seems like they had a blast in their 1st year of married life.
