She also received the two Gemini Awards for her work on Slings & Arrows. Similarly, she also worked as a writer for the Canadian comedy-drama miniseries The Best Laid Plans which was aired from January 5, 2014, to February 3, 2014.

Moreover, in 2017, she wrote the screenplay for the Christmas biographical comedy-drama film The Man Who Invented Christmas which was directed by  Bharat Nalluri. Actors like Dan Stevens, Christopher Plummer, and Jonathan Pryce starred in the film.
