Tom is popular for winning the sixth season of Strictly Come Dancing with his partner Camilla Dallerup. The pair scored 28 points in their opening performance. Topping the leaderboard twice in the series, he reached the semi-finals of the competition.

In the semi-finals, Tom had Austin Healey who is his biggest challenger. His performance got to the bottom of the leaderboard, there was no way for him to be saved from the dance-off. Therefore, the tie between the other two couples leads BBC to take all three couples to the final.

In the final, Tom beat Lisa Snowdon into third place and went for the competition with Rachel Stevens in the final round.
