The 25-year-old Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback took to Instagram on Monday, January 6, that his wife, Marissa, had given birth to their first child.

The couple is blessed with a baby girl named Shae Lynn Lawrence, weighing 10 pounds and 2 ounces.

Trevor shared a heartwarming photo on Instagram featuring his wife Marissa lying in her hospital bed, with him sitting beside her and their newborn daughter Shae nestled between them, all smiling for the camera.

Marissa was dressed in a cozy black pajama set, while Trevor sported a baseball cap that read “Girl Dad.”

The football player also was also seen wearing an arm sling due to shoulder surgery he had last month for an AC joint injury. Similarly, their baby looked adorable in a white onesie.

In addition to the family photo, the new parents posted a solo picture of Shae resting in her hospital bassinet, where she wore a pink knitted sweater with her name stitched in brown.

Other images showed the couple bringing their newborn daughter home, with Trevor proudly carrying Shae in her car seat.

Upon arriving at their house, they shared another photo of Marissa cuddling Shae while sitting next to a window that overlooked their backyard.

Furthermore, Trevor added a caption to the post, writing,

The baby arrival news comes just a month after Lawrence concluded his 2024 NFL season. He ended season with concussion that led to his placement on the Injured Reserve list.

Additionally, he underwent surgery to fix an AC joint injury in his left shoulder, as reported by NFL.com.

Trevor Lawrence and Marissa Lawrence were school sweathearts. They met in 2016 while attending Cartersville High School in Georgia.

They became engaged in 2020 and married on April 10, 2021.

On June 27, 2024, they announced that they were expecting their first child, sharing a series of photos on social media.

In the pictures, Trevor was barefoot and dressed in a white t-shirt and black pants, gently holding Marissa’s baby bump.

Marissa mentioned that they discovered the baby’s gender a week before the reveal party and enjoyed surprising their loved ones with the news.

She added playfully that their daughter would be “so spoiled.”
