Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson are feeling blue but in the nicest way possible.

The couple who are expecting their first child together revealed in a celebratory post on Sunday that their baby will be a boy.

The couple had a professional photoshoot done to celebrate the sex-revealing occasion. The couple was all smiles as they announced the great news.

The mom-to-be captioned the photos:

“IT’S A … BOY!!!!!!! ?Today we are officially halfway there to meeting our son. Saying those words still makes me emotional!!”

Adding that she will soon be uploading a new video on her YouTube channel, she wrote:

“SO EXCITED to be a boy mom ?,”

Last month, on her YouTube channel, Johnson,28, revealed how she broke the news of her pregnancy to her husband and their family and friends with the pair’s first baby.

Chmerkovskiy was emotional when he found out about the pregnancy

Chmerkovskiy’s Instagram, on the other hand, showed the dad-to-be opening up a sneaker box that looked as if it had a pair of shoes in it.

The cute box had four pregnancy tests and a pair of infant Air Force Ones.

Val, 36, looked surprised and asked his wife:

“Oh my God. Are you serious?”

He looked emotional as he put the box down and hugged his wife.

Chmerkovskiy picked up their dog cradled it in his arms and said:

”You’re going to be a sister.”

Johnson later said:

“That was one of the best nights of my life “We couldn’t stop talking about it, we couldn’t stop thinking about it. It was amazing.”

The couple tied the knot in 2019. Johnson who is due in January previously talked about how she suffered two years of infertility before finally being able to conceive her son.

She added:

”Every day when I look in the mirror and I get bigger and bigger, it just hits me what’s happening,”

“I just think I try to find ways to be super grateful and find moments of gratitude. I started a little gratitude journal. Just every day I write what’s happening in my body.”

The Dancing with the Stars pro continued:

”What I’ve liked. What I don’t like. But just how magical the experience is. So I think trying to keep my mind in that mindset has been really helpful for me.”
