The Godmother of Punk fashion died on Thursday, December 29, 2022, in presence of her family in Clapham, south London. Her loved ones announced her demise through her eponymous fashion on Twitter,

“29th December 2022. Vivienne Westwood died today, peacefully and surrounded by her family, in Clapham, South London. The world needs people like Vivienne to make a change for the better.”

While the death reason of the designer is not disclosed, a quote from Dame Vivienne was attached to the post of grief led by her family on Twitter. They were nostalgic about her quote which give a life lesson, they are to write it on her obituary as well.

“We are saddened to learn about the passing of legendary designer Vivienne Westwood. A true revolutionary and rebellious force in fashion.”

London Mayor Sadiq Khan also tweeted after the fashion icon died in her early 80s. The fashion icon, who brought revolution through her triumphant runway shows in London, Paris, Milan, and New York will be missed.
