The legendary British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood is dead at 81. May her Departed Soul Rest in Peace, a true visionary, who left the fashion world mourning.
The Godmother of Punk fashion died on Thursday, December 29, 2022, in presence of her family in Clapham, south London. Her loved ones announced her demise through her eponymous fashion on Twitter,
“29th December 2022. Vivienne Westwood died today, peacefully and surrounded by her family, in Clapham, South London. The world needs people like Vivienne to make a change for the better.”
While the death reason of the designer is not disclosed, a quote from Dame Vivienne was attached to the post of grief led by her family on Twitter. They were nostalgic about her quote which give a life lesson, they are to write it on her obituary as well.
“Tao spiritual system. There was never more need to the Tao today. Tao gives you a feeling that you belong to the cosmos and gives purpose to your life; it gives you such a sense of identity and strength to know you’re living the life you can live and therefore ought to be living: make full use of your character and full use of your life on earth.”

Tributes are pouring in for the late fashion designer Vivienne who is survived by her husband and sons Ben Westwood and Joseph Corré. Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley on the death tribute wrote,
“Queen Vivienne Westwood…..you will light up heaven with your endless energy, you will never be forgotten….uniqueness at its all time BEST!!! Rest In Peace Be yourself even in heaven #rip #viviennewestwood #queen #fashion #icon.”
Meanwhile, on the death of the fashion icon from the 1970s, Trevor Sinclair wrote a condolence message. Ahead of her funeral services, he cited,
“Sad to hear Vivienne Westwood has passed condolences to her family such a talented designer, northerner & supporter of the working class RIP.”
Likewise, The Pogues’ singer Spider Stacey is tight-lipped after knowing the death of the designer. He simply wrote about the icon who brought her androgynous designs and slogan t-shirts on-trend,

Also, The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) also offered condolences to Dame Vivienne Westwood as a “true revolutionary and rebellious force in fashion”, penning,
“We are saddened to learn about the passing of legendary designer Vivienne Westwood. A true revolutionary and rebellious force in fashion.”
London Mayor Sadiq Khan also tweeted after the fashion icon died in her early 80s. The fashion icon, who brought revolution through her triumphant runway shows in London, Paris, Milan, and New York will be missed.
