The Collingwood defender Jeremy Howe wed his girlfriend of many years Kahlia Ashton on this Sunday 29 December 2019 in Australia. It was a lavish rooftop ceremony at the Crown Casino in Melbourne. The close friends and family members of the couple witness the couple exchange wedding vows.

Kahlia was in a stunning wedding gown which was white. It was an ornate floor-length wedding dress with a revealing neckline that was deep and plunging all the way down to her abdomen. It had white details on the sleeve and neck and looked quite controversial.

Kahlia had a long flowing train trailing behind her and wore a glamorous look with all smiles. English-born TV presenter and celebrant Shura Taft officiated the ceremony. The reception was at the nearby trendy restaurant Half Acre.

The couple shared the happy news with their fans on their social media platforms the next day complete with pictures and all. Kahlia preferred to upload a black-and-white pic of the couple walking hand-in-hand and smiling lovingly at each other. It was a cute photo and she captioned it:

Her husband Jeremy Howe posted a lovely pic of his wife and wrote:

‘Best day ever.’

The wedding photographer Dan Brannan was also happy clicking pictures of the big day stating that the couple was easy-going and nice to work with. He said:

‘I couldn’t have dreamed of a more fun and down to earth pair. How about that dress too!?’

About the couple’s relationship timeline

Kahlia is a private events manager with Crown Melbourne Limited. She has been working with them since July 2015. Prior to that due was an events and conference manager for a year. For eight years, she served Peter Rowland Catering. Prior to this, she was the Operations services manager with the same company for five years. She used to Oversee all events within the Commercial division of Peter Rowland Catering in Victoria, New South Wales, and ACT. Additionally, she has worked for Parnell Partners Group. Education-wise, she has studied at the William Angliss Institute and obtained a graduation in Event Management.

Jeremy and Kahlia Ashton have been dating for many years now. In September 2017, she was preparing for the fifth Brownlow Medal night. In his play, Jeremy flies high and Kahlia admitted that it makes her nervous. She said:

“I get nervous every time. He’s got a ridiculous leap,”
“Ever since he’s moved to Collingwood, he’s played really well and he’s enjoying his football. I feel like he will win it (mark of the year), which is exciting.”
