Elizabeth was born on 20 March 1957 in France in the Parisian suburb Levallois-Perret. Her birth name was Elizabeth Clementine Madeleine Bourgine.

She did several French movies but her international reputation came up with her acting in the film called Death in Paradise. In this French-British film, she portrayed the character of Catherine Bordey and became known worldwide.

In 1985, Elizabeth won the Romy Schneider Prize. Elizabeth’s other French roles are in Heart in Winter which she did in 1992, Private Lessons in 1986, and My Best Friend in 2006.

Elizabeth has also done theater plays. She has over 60 roles to her credit and this is mostly in the French entertainment industry. In the latter movie, she portrays the character of Julia.

Elizabeth, 62 was born in Levallois-Perret, France. She is married and her husband is writer and director Jean-Luc Miesch. They had first met during the shooting of Nestor Burma which was in the 1990s. They dated and hot married. The couple has one son named Jules who is grown up now.
