Vicente Fernandez: the legend

Vicente Fernandez is a great name in the music industry. He was a renowned singer who was born on 17 February 1940 in Huentitán El Alto, Guadalajara, Mexico. He was a Latino and had a passion for music since a very young age. Vicente started contesting in music competitions and used to win many of them. But in December, he had some complications of the surgery and breathed his last on 13 December 2021. His family held a memorial service in his memory at their estate at Los Tres Potrillos. His son, Alejandro Fernández, posted a tribute for his late father on his Instagram that read:

‘Without a doubt, I could not have asked for a better father, friend and teacher. Thank you for showing me the way. And although we miss you every day, your spirit and voice will live on forever in your family, your city and your people.’

Is Alejandra Fernández the biological daughter of Vicente?

The answer is No. Alejandra Fernández was not his real daughter. The family had adopted her when she was small. Alejandra was born on 11 March 1984. Reports say that it was his sister-in-law, Gloria’s daughter and Vicente adopted her from Gloria. Vicente’s family treated her as their own.
