She had a 21-2 record, a 0.76 ERA, and 255 strikeouts in 128+2/3 innings as a senior. She had a.439 batting average, 11 doubles, five home runs, and 31 RBIs to go along with a.780 slugging percentage and a.495 on-base percentage.

Following a fantastic season, she was named the 2017- 18 Lincoln- Way East High School Senior Female Athlete of the Year, Southwest Suburban Conference Softball Player of the Time, and The Herald- News Softball Player of the Year, as well as earning first- platoon each- state accolades in 2018. She concluded her high academy career with 918 strikeouts and a palm-loss record of 70- 19.

Storako made her collegiate debut against NC State on February 8, 2019, striking out six batters in three hitless innings. The athlete had a 14- 6 record, a 2.02 period, and 190 strikeouts over 142 13 innings in her novitiate season.

She finished the regular season with back-to-back Big Ten Beginner of the Week accolades.  She was selected to the Big Ten All- beginner platoon.

Alex had an 8- 3 record, a 2.43 period, and 141 strikeouts in 75 innings during her sophomore season, which was cut short after 23 games due to the COVID-19 epidemic. She finished fourth in overall strikeouts( 141), and third in strikeouts per seven innings(13.2).
