Big Brother couple Alyssa Snider and Kyle Capener have called it quits on their relationship after less than one year together.

The television personality, 29, took to an Instagram story on Thursday, January 26, to announce the heartbreaking news that he and Alyssa have broken up. Capener wrote,

“As tough as it is, I still have a lot of healing to do in this next phase of life. Healing that needs to be done on my own, so with a heavy heart, Alyssa and I have decided to take some time apart.”

He then went on to state that they had mutually agreed to end their relationship with love, respect, and due regard for one another’s mental health.

Also, he assures that they will support each other in all aspects of their lives and has asked fans to support them in this decision.

Kyle then concluded his statement by stating,

“We’ll both benefit from some time to focus on ourselves. We ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through this difficult time. We still love and care for each other deeply, and we look forward to the future with hope and positivity. Thank you for your understanding and support.”

Snider, for her part, confirmed their split by reposting her now ex-boyfriend Kyle’s statement on her own Instagram Story.

How long have Alyssa Snider and Kyle Capener been together?

Alyssa Snider and Kyle Capener first met while competing on season 24 of Big Brother, which began filming in the summer of 2022.

One month later, the twosome took a trip to Saint Augustine, Florida, confirming that their romance had lasted the show. However, the couple hasn’t public their romance until their November 2022 Instagram Q&A session.

The now-ex-couple candidly responded, “Are we?” when asked if they were dating during the session. Capener recalled the moment when he knew the Florida native, 24, was the one for him. He said,

“In the house, I did say, in our first conversation, ‘I think you’re going to make me fall in love with you, aren’t you?’ And it was a wrap,”

The pair last time traveled to Greece together in early January. Alyssa posted several pictures from the trip on Instagram captioning it,

“Such a beautiful way to end our trip. It’s safe to say I’ve turned Kyle into a dog, flower, and breakfast guy. From falling in love with London, seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time, eating the BEST food we’ve ever had in Italy… to going to the hospital in Athens (never again) Seeing some of the most incredible places with the person I love the most is so special. Beyond grateful for this life”

Prior to that, they went on a trip to England and Italy in December 2022.
