Jana Kramer, 38 is again single!

Just three months after going Instagram official with a new beau Ian Schinelli, she and Ian have broken up. In January, the country singer took to Instagram to introduce her now-estranger boyfriend Ian, a single dad, and Navy SEAL by sharing cozy pictures of them.

On Friday (April 22), Jana confirmed the two called it quits on their relationship during an interview with Access Hollywood. When she was asked what her advice is for someone going through a breakup by host Scott Evans, she replied,

“I mean, I’m kinda going through it right now.”

As soon as she replied Evans stopped her and asked,

“Wait what?”

Then, another host Kit Hoover added,

“Are you serious?”

The One Tree Hill star explained,

“Yeah, you know it’s good. I think I still—I think what I would say though is, Your story isn’t over. You’re never gonna be alone. It’s never—it’s not as bad as it seems in the moment,”

She concludes her statement by saying,

“And I think time is a beautiful thing and to just know that God has bigger plans for you in store.”

Three months: Bitter or Golden?

Well, Jana began dating Ian just months after her divorce from her ex-husband Mike Caussin. Jana was earlier married to football tight end Mike Caussin with whom she shared two children, daughter Jolie and son Jace.

On the other hand, Ian is also a single parent to his daughter. The two met through their mutual friend in October last year. The twosome’s relationship got sparked in December when Jana shared a photo of herself in a robe which was seemingly taken by a shirtless man, who was spotted in a mirror behind Kramer.

After that post went viral, the singer admitted that she was in a relationship but didn’t introduce her new beau until January 2022.

Well, everything is going nicely between them, the Country Crush star also often shared a glimpse of her relationship with Ian on social media platforms.

But, suddenly, what happened the two called it quiet on their relationship. This made new speculations about their breakup that Jana may have indulged with him only for the sake of emotional stability following her divorce from her ex-husband.

While appearing in an episode of her “Whine Down” podcast, she gushed about the new man in her life in January. She said,

“We just have a lot of fun together, and he pushes me to just stretch my limits on things. It just feels really nice. … I was scared to post [their romance] because I don’t want to be embarrassed. I don’t want the same history to repeat itself. From what I see, he’s an honest man.”

Similarly, Schinelli also opened up about how the pair worked out their issues during his podcast debut on “Whine Down” in March. He explained,

“It’s not a boundary, it’s just more understanding her needs [and] my needs. We didn’t address those right away, and it was definitely a difficult thing to get to, and once we finally got to it, it was like, I need this in my day and my week, and she needs this in her day and her week.”

He also discussed the challenges when it comes to dating a celebrity. Ian told,

“It’s been different. It’s been really good, but I don’t get caught up with the limelight of stuff like that.”
