Shae Smolik’s early childhood in brief
Shae Smolik is just 11 years old and has been in this industry for the last 5 years. Her father Mark Smolik is a surgeon while her mother Jaime Smolik is a physician assistant.
Shae is an Iowa native and comes from a small rural town in Iowa. Currently, she resides in Los Angeles to pursue her dream. She is the youngest of five children.
She is homeschooled at the moment but would join Van Meter Middle School as a sixth-grader in the fall of 2017.
Shae also started learning acting under the three best coaches in LA in order to hone her acting and performance skills. She is good both in her studies as well as acting.
Shae Smolik’s career
Blonde-haired and blue-eyed Shae Smolik started working in front of the camera when she was 6 years old. She first did modeling before shifting to commercials.
Her innocent and pretty face is captivating. She had a deep liking for acting and hence signed in for a representation with a bigger talent agency in Chicago.
Her Iowan agent also recognized her great potential and suggested to her and her parents that it would be beneficial for her to shift to Los Angeles for better prospects.
She was featured in the local DSM magazine and also in a Mediacom commercial. She quickly landed roles in national commercials such as Kohl’s, Tide, and Hasbro.
She got leads in short films, web series, and more national commercials. The first feature film she did was Trafficked.
It was a very emotional role opposite Elisabeth Rohm but she managed to play it effectively. She also was cast in Criminal Minds.
She has filmed for a horror thriller film which is tentatively called The Hatred in which she plays a lead role and the film is produced by Malek Akkad. This film has been nominated for the Golden Trailer Awards and also walked the red carpet for it.
She was super-excited about its trailers and release and had said:
“I’m so excited for it to come out. It’s going to be in theaters and it’s going to be all over, we think, so I’m really excited. It will be weird seeing the trailer on TV and being, like, ‘Wait, that’s me.'”
She has also completed filming for a drama which is directed by Doug Campbell and is named Pursued. She can also do comedy roles and is an extremely talented gymnast, dancer, and horseback rider.
She loves thrills in life and is an extrovert by nature. Her representative is Brad Diffley of Maverick Artists and her manager is Debra Lynn Findon of Discover Management.

Shae Smolik’s holidays
Shae comes home for her summer breaks and is also into later doing an online TV series called Play by Play.
Her mother Jaime resides with her in Hollywood and both return home to Hawkeye State during the holidays to be with the family and enjoy some quality time there.
In 2017, she also gets some time in the fall to come back home for some time.
She misses school and would love to rejoin back at her regular school and catch up with old friends. She said:
“I’m such a social girl and I love being with friends, so I’ve been begging my mom to put me in school again. So I just can’t wait to go there. That’s all I’ve been talking about.”
