Meet Andrea Cardinale! The Young Man charged with Double Murder

A 21-year-old man Andrea Cardinale is charged with double murder after an Italian couple was found dead in their UK flat. The bride and groom-to-be, Francesca Di Dio and Antonino Calabro were murdered just days before their wedding, while the investigation is ongoing.

The bodies of the two couple, both 26, known as Nino, and his 20-year-old fiancé, who visited him for Christmas all the way from Italy were killed.

Meanwhile, their bodies were found in a flat in North Yorkshire around 2.10 pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. One of the residents nearby their flat told,

“It all happened around 3.30pm, all the police appeared. It’s obviously something going on in the flats, the police have been going in and out. I’ve asked them what’s happened but they won’t say. I’ve young kids, it’s concerning.”

Police have released the photographs of the deceased couple Nino and Francesca, while the mourning family is still processing the death of their loved ones. Francessca’s parents already left for London and are arriving in Yorkshire to see their daughter for the one last time.

The murder suspect, Cardinale is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Monday, December 26. The trial and charges for the Thornaby Road residents are set as the police continue to investigate.

With the facts of the couple’s relationship being disclosed, Nino, a table games dealer at a casino in Stockton-on-Tees, and Francessca have been engaged for three years. The two were together for Christmas 2022 to spend the Holiday. Is Andrea Cardinale guilty?

Tributes are Pouring in for the Deceased Couple

Following the tragic murder news of Nino and his fiance, their friends and co-workers led tributes on social media, with one of Nino’s colleague writing,

“Can’t quite believe it… Nino Calabrò rest in peace man.. can’t believe I was only talking to you on Sunday, gonna miss you loads – you were such a laugh to work with.”

Another co-worker who also works for the same Casino penned his final goodbye to Nino, in a sad note, writing,

“Such sad news to wake up to this morning. R.I.P Nino Calabrò will always remember you for your amazing customer service and such a big personality. You will be missed by so many and the casino won’t be the same without you.”

While the well-wishers are laying flowers at the flat of the deceased, A third person showed deep concern about the way Nino and his girl lost their lives, saying,

“I’m speechless you and your girlfriend didn’t deserve this fate, I only knew you for 3 months and you were a golden boy who brought joy every day at the academy.”
