According to South Korea’s prosecutor, O Yeong-Su has been charged with sexual misconduct under the accusations of touching a woman inappropriately.

The prosecution in South Korea indicted the 78-year-old actor on Thursday. He is not arrested under the following charge dating 2017 despite his indiction. Meanwhile, the Squid Game actor has denied the accusations.

The Netflix star who apologized to the alleged victim strictly insists that it is not an admission of guilt by confessing,

“I just held her hand to guide the way around the lake. I apologized because [she] said she wouldn’t make a fuss about it but it doesn’t mean that I admit the charges.”

The complaint of the lady regarding the inappropriate touching date back to Dec 2021. It was ultimately closed in April but it is again reopened. Thus, the reported victim has asked for further investigations.

The government banned advertisements featuring O Yeong-su

The Government of South Korea decided to stop airing any sort of government commercial featuring O who is now an alleged offender. It comes after the case reopening of sexual misconduct battery charges on The Squid Game actor.

Meanwhile, Suwon District Prosecutor’s Office officials are supporting proving Yeong-su innocent. They have reportedly told the AFP news agency that the charges reports are not factually incorrect.
